Money and Finances

This is an broad picture of our display on Money and Finance.

What is the most important thing you need as a child to save money? That is right! A piggy bank. What is the worst thing an adult uses to spend their money? You are right again. A credit card machine.

Before Quickbooks and Quicken, a good old fashioned ledger, calculator and pencil was what was needed to keep track of expenses.

Of course, a filing system is needed to keep all of those bill receipts.

We used fake bills printed off of the Internet.

Our special projects department made us a paper money tablecloth and we added chocolate coins on the top. (It is amazing how the coins kept disappearing. I guess we had hungry patrons and staff.)
